When an individual is asked for personal information, we advise how it is used. E.g. we may use the personal information to personalise / tailor our services to the individual, to identify who we are communicating with, or to inform the individual of further information relating to our services.

How we collect information
We collect information directly from individuals. E.g. when individuals request a product or service; when individuals participate in marketing campaigns or surveys; when individuals subscribe to mailing lists. When NBetax receives referred associates from individuals already on our database, we contact the referred individual and allow them to give their personal information.
Who will use the personal information?
NBetax will not share, sell or trade personal information to any external party.
Information security
Only NBetax employees who perform services on the individual’s behalf are authorised to handle personal information. NBetax take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information that is no longer required.
SSL Certificate A 128bit encryption SSL certificate has been installed to ensure that payment information is protected. This SSL provides 128 bit encryption from client to server.
Credit Card information is not persisted. Access to personal information
In accordance with our obligations under the Privacy Act we provide individuals with copies of their personal information, except to the extent listed in clauses 6.1.c and 6.1.d. of the National Privacy Principles referred to in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.
